General Information

Art Work:

Electronic Art is Preferred

• No vector art required on all Custom Art Concepts Products (Metal plates, acrylic and ceramic products)
• Please save fonts as curves or outlines on camera ready art
• Vector art is required for lasered and silk-screened products
• Logos and text can be provided separately

We accept graphic art files in the following software packages:

• Adobe Illustrator, up to version 9. (.eps or Illustrator .ai)
• Adobe Photoshop, up to version 7. (.psd, .eps or .tiff and .jpeg)
• Corel Draw, up to version 12. (.cdr or .cpt)
• Power Point (note, files require modification for our processes)

Word, Excel, Word Perfect are accepted for personalization and numerical data only. (.doc, .xls and .wpg). No graphics please

We can also scan and re-produce your documents (proof of ownership required). See scanning & printing below.

All artwork is subject to our approval

Services are available at $ 40.00 an hour

• Our graphics and art consultants can assist you in designing a product that reflects your needs.

* Custom Art Concepts will supply a digital PDF Adobe Acrobat or faxed proof for final approval. We can only proceed with production when we have received your approval.

Scanning

• Scanning is available for documents and graphics up to 11" by 17", 600 dpi

Printing

Custom Art Concepts can print your documents and graphics at two distinct levels of quality.

• Laser out-puts to 11" by 17"
• Top quality Ink-jet out-puts to 12" by 18" (glossy & matte specialty paper can be supplied).

Also sublimation printing can be provided for special projects.

Set-up Charges

• Some items require set-up charges.

Personalization

• Most items can be personalized with charges based on the particular item.

Pre-Production Samples

• Digital mock-ups can be provided on orders of ten or more pieces.
• Physical samples can be provided for quotes on volume orders.
• Samples are charged at regular price, plus shipping.
• Cost of sample is waived on receipt of purchase order for quoted order.
• Set-up charges are applied to orders that drop in volume, after quoting

Production Schedule

• Turn-around time is approximately 7 days from date of art approval.
• Please allow additional time for large custom or volume orders.
• Rush production is always available on request, charges may apply.

Inserts

• Business and thank you cards etc, or other enclosures can be packaged with items.

Packaging

• Our shop wraps all products in durable bubble wrap.
• Cardboard boxing, labeling and corners are available on request at an additional charge.
• Special packaging can be designed and inventoried for on-going projects.

Shipping

• Custom Art Concepts Limited has shipped packages through-out the globe.
• Carriers may be chosen by customer and charged on customer’s account, or shipping charges can be added to the invoice.
• All claims should be made with the carrier.

Terms

• Custom Art Concepts Limited accepts Visa
• New accounts and custom orders are 50% deposit, balance COD
• All products are FOB, our plant - 507 King Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
